Honorable Chief Guest Shri Sahni, Shri. Bapat, Shri. Khambete, distinguished guests, entrepreneurs, Pitambari associates and friends at the outset, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you .
I am enormously pleased and honored to receive this prestigious AWA today. All of us in the industry are not only aware of such prestigious awards that many organizations confer, but also the amount of lobbying and malpractices that go in before such an award comes your way.
Today, by the grace of God and the blessings of my elders I can proudly say that this Award has come to me out of sheer hard work, goodwill and a strong determination to rise above the expectations of the society. That is why when I received a telephone call from Shri. Bapat to convey that I have been selected for the award, was a pleasant surprise. This unexpected and astonishing news really made my day.
It is certainly a very difficult task to select the most appropriate person for receiving an award, without expectations of any type of sponsorship or financial support and with the unanimous decision of all the committee members for the same. It must be noted by all the Thane Manufacturers Association and the citizens of Thane City must be given due credit and appreciation for keeping themselves abreast of every happening, every single contribution made by an individual industrialist while considering him worthy of the award.
I am thankful and humbled that Shri. Bapat, Shri. Khambete, Shri. Limaye and the other members of the committee from the TMA considered me for this award on the basis of skills required by an entrepreneur to propagate his business further. I appreciate their gesture and thank them from the bottom of my heart for conferring this honour on me. I would like to convey my feelings through this Sanskrit shlok.
